If there is one thing our Flower Mound custom home builders know about this wonderful north Texas city, it’s that you can find all kinds of great food! The newest restaurant announcing its presence at The Shops at Highland Village is Delhi 6 Indian Kitchen, promising a whole new level of quality and freshness in its Indian-inspired fare.
Delhi 6 will be joining several other recent additions to the center including Lambeau’s American Kitchen, Tiff’s Treats, and Brass Tap. Abishek “AJ” and Vipul “VJ” Jain, co-owners of Delhi 6 and previous co-owners of India Grill at Arlington Highlands, said the restaurant will offer menu options that are familiar to Americans like chicken tikka masala. Diners can choose from chicken, fish, beef, and shrimp along with other meats that are less common in the area such as lamb and goat. The brothers said Delhi 6 will also offer up plenty of vegetarian-friendly options.
VJ said the focus will be on great quality and freshness with traditional food prepared using flavorful spices, but not in a way that’s too spicy or burns. AJ and VJ live in the area, and want to bring to the neighborhood the type of restaurant where they would choose to eat themselves. Lunch will include a buffet.
According to JLL spokesperson Austin Speni, Delhi 6 Indian Kitchen is expected to open sometime this winter and will be located at 1701 Shoal Creek. Ste. J110 in Highland Village. The restaurant will be in the space formerly occupied by Potbelly Sandwich Shop.
Considering it’s less than 10 miles away, no doubt many Flower Mound area residents will be excited to try out a new Indian dining experience! We think winter will be the perfect time to try out this flavorful, satisfying food that will no doubt warm the taste buds and the belly.
