Our Flower Mound custom green home builders are excited about a new taste of Italy coming to town, Fiori Italian Restaurant! Brothers Michael and Sam Billelo are bringing authentic Italian cuisine to our beautiful city, delectable menu items passed down in their family for generations.
Sam and Michael’s father operates two restaurants in Phoenix, Sal’s Tuscan Grill and Bella Luna. Both have worked in the family’s restaurants for the past decade. Sam and Michael, whose grandparents are from Palermo, Italy, made the decision to open an Italian restaurant together after Sam moved to North Texas to be closer to family.
From meatballs, calamari, and stuffed mushrooms to pizza, salads, hand made pasta, chicken, veal, seafood and bruschettas, Fiori has authentic Italian selections for everyone including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Sam said he and Michael wanted a great place to settle down with their families away from the big city, and chose Flower Mound because they liked the neighborhood. A casual restaurant, Fiori Italian Restaurant & Bar serves up fresh, homemade Italian food prepared by chef Sam while Michael runs the front of the house. Sam described the setting as “rustic Italian,” saying it was like a rural Italian farmhouse you would expect to come across in the Italian countryside. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant will also have Italian wines, cocktails and dessert available to customers.
The restaurant is named in honor of Sam and Michael’s grandmothers, who passed down their passion for great food in their own kitchens and restaurants. Fiori is Italian for flowers. The Billelo brothers look forward to bringing their traditional Italian dishes to the wonderful city of Flower Mound – and our Flower Mound family of custom home builders is excited about trying it out!
